Winchester Model 37 Single Barrel Tip-Up Shotgun, NVSN, .410 bore, blued 26'' barrel with bead front sight and auto ejector marked on left side with maker's name, address and patent pending, ''Model 37-Steelbilt-.410-3 in./Full'', and ''Winchester/Trade Mark''; oval proofmarks atop barrel and receiver at breech; blued triggerguard and receiver marked ''Winchester'' at bottom; plain varnished walnut forend and pistol-grip buttstock with Winchester checkered black plastic buttplate. Condition is very good, the barrel retaining approx. 75% original blue (6'' back from muzzle perhaps having been touched-up with a blue-black finish), the receiver with approx. 50% blue blending into brown patina. Stocks are smooth and solid with minimal handling marks and scattered light staining to right side of buttstock. Action is smooth; bore is bright. Est.: $250-$400. (C&R)
